Fifteen seasons. Fifteen seasons of the Johnstons. It’s a milestone, sure, but what exactly is the milestone for? Tolerance of the mundane? A testament to the enduring appeal of niche family dynamics? Whatever the reason, the 7 Little Johnstons are back, and this time, there’s a new face at the dinner table: baby Leighton, finally home from the hospital.
So, prepare for the usual heartwarming (and occasionally chaotic) Johnston shenanigans, now with the added wrinkle of newborn-induced sleep deprivation. Diaper changes, feeding schedules, and the inevitable sibling squabbles over who gets to hold the baby – it’s all here. But amidst the baby-centric frenzy, there’s another celebration on the horizon. The Johnston kids are cooking up a surprise for Trent and Amber’s 25th wedding anniversary, and knowing this family, it’s bound to be a memorable (and possibly slightly embarrassing) affair.
This season will ostensibly chronicle the Johnstons’ adjustment to their expanded family. Will Jonah finally move out of the basement? Will Elizabeth continue her quest for world domination (or at least a decent parking spot)? Tune in and find out. Maybe.
