The growing emotional distance between Anna and her family finally comes to a head. No longer willing to ignore her withdrawal, Trent confronts his daughter directly, sparking a tense and emotional conflict that reveals the deepening rift between them. Anna’s desire for independence clashes with Trent’s fatherly concern, leaving them at a difficult crossroads.
While one part of the family is fracturing, another is building for the future. As baby Leighton becomes more active, the Johnstons undertake the massive task of babyproofing their home. At the same time, Liz and Brice take a significant step toward starting their own lives by beginning the search for a plot of land to build their first house.
