We are in store for another emotionally charged episode of “9-1-1” this Thursday on ABC. “Disconnected” hints at trouble brewing for several of our favorite first responders, particularly Maddie and Eddie.
As Maddie returns to work after her extended leave, she finds the transition back to dispatch more difficult than she imagined. The episode explores the emotional toll of her past experiences and the challenges of readjusting to the high-pressure environment of the 9-1-1 call center.
Meanwhile, Eddie is also facing difficulties, struggling with his changed circumstances at home. A surprising discovery by Christopher adds another level of complication to Eddie’s already fragile emotional state.
