ABC’s first responder drama, “9-1-1,” saw a substantial lift in viewership after seven days of cross-platform viewing, according to Nielsen and ABC’s internal data. The episode, which aired on October 10 and served as the culmination of a three-part storyline dubbed “Bee-nado,” garnered 10.42 million total viewers across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, and digital platforms.

This marks an 89% increase from its initial live + same-day audience of 5.52 million. The boost was even more pronounced in the key demographic of adults 18-49, where the episode earned a 2.01 rating, a staggering 294% surge from its initial 0.51 rating.

This performance represents the show’s best multiplatform reach in total viewers since the conclusion of its “Poseidon Adventure” arc on March 28. The “Bee-nado” storyline clearly resonated with viewers who opted for delayed viewing options, indicating the continued relevance of multiplatform measurement in today’s fragmented media landscape. The episode also performed strongly on linear television, ranking as the evening’s top entertainment program in both total viewers (7.39 million) and the 18-49 demographic (0.75 rating).
