There’s a double dose of danger on ABC’s “9-1-1” this Thursday. “Sick Day,” the first part of a two-part episode, throws the 118 into a high-stakes emergency that quickly escalates from a routine call to a full-blown biohazard situation.

It all begins with a fire at a research lab, a scenario that already presents its own set of unique challenges. But as the team battles the flames, they discover that the lab contains hazardous materials, turning the rescue mission into a race against time to contain a potentially deadly outbreak.

“9-1-1” is known for its over-the-top emergencies and the unwavering heroism of its first responders, and “Sick Day” seems to be no exception. The two-part structure adds another element of suspense, leaving us wondering how the 118 will handle this biohazard threat.

Tune in to ABC this Thursday, April 10 at 8:00 PM for the first part of this tense two-parter, and brace yourself for the fallout.
