Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler Join HBO’s ‘Lanterns’ Cast

HBO has confirmed that Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler will star in the upcoming DC series “Lanterns.” Pierre will play John Stewart, and Chandler will take on the role of Hal Jordan.

The series follows new recruit John Stewart and veteran Lantern Hal Jordan as they investigate a mysterious murder in rural America, leading them to uncover a much larger, earth-bound conspiracy.

“Lanterns” is produced by HBO in collaboration with Warner Bros. Television and DC Studios. The series is co-written by Chris Mundy, Damon Lindelof, and Tom King, based on the DC comic “Green Lantern.” James Hawes is set to direct the first two episodes.
