Abbott Elementary marks a milestone this week with the aptly titled episode “100th Day of School.”
Barbara Howard, the school’s resident voice of reason, receives a surprise visit from her daughter. Knowing Barbara, this visit will likely involve a mix of pride, gentle nagging, and maybe even a little embarrassment. Meanwhile, a school-wide search party is formed, comprised of the unlikely trio of Melissa Schemmenti, Jacob Johnson, and Mr. Johnson. What exactly they’re searching for remains a mystery, but given their track records, it’s safe to assume the situation will quickly devolve into chaos.
“100th Day of School” offers a chance to check in with the Abbott staff and see how they’re faring, both personally and professionally. Will Janine finally manage to fix that leaky faucet? Will Gregory finally confess his feelings for Janine? Will Ava continue to exist in a state of blissful obliviousness? Tune in to find out.
