Halloween arrives at Abbott Elementary, and with it, the inevitable parade of ill-conceived costumes and questionable party games.
Janine (Quinta Brunson) and Gregory (Tyler James Williams), now officially a couple, attempt to impress with a coordinated ensemble, which, naturally, misses the mark.
Meanwhile, Barbara’s (Sheryl Lee Ralph) traditional apple-bobbing faces resistance from parents concerned about hygiene. Because nothing says Halloween like a sterile, sanitized celebration of autumnal traditions. Will Barbara defend her beloved game, or will she be forced to succumb to the tyranny of antibacterial wipes?
Perhaps a compromise can be reached: individually wrapped, pre-sanitized apples bobbing in bottled water. It’s a brave new world, after all.
