ABC Announces The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration

On Sunday, November 26, Derek Hough and Julianne Hough will return as hosts for “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration.” They will also host the “Disney Parks Magical Christmas Day Parade” on Monday, December 25. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the parade, and Jesse Palmer and Mickey Guyton will join as co-hosts.
The specials were filmed at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida and Disneyland Resort in California, as well as Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa in Ko Olina, Hawai’i, and aboard Disney Cruise Line. The shows will feature performances of holiday classics and new favorites, as well as heartwarming family stories from around the world. There will also be a special glimpse of Disney’s newest major motion picture, “Wish,” which will be in theaters on November 22, 2023.
Musical performances for “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration” include Derek and Julianne Hough performing “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas,” “What Christmas Means to Me,” and a “Dance to the Music” medley. Michael Bolton and Mickey Guyton will perform “Christmas Isn’t Christmas,” while Adam Blackstone and Andra Day will perform “Someday at Christmas” and an original song by Blackstone called “Legacy Christmastime.” Mickey Guyton will also perform “Jingle Bell Rock,” Chris Janson will perform “Holiday Road,” and Tori Kelly will perform “This Christmas” and “Winter Wonderland.”
Special appearances will be made by Ariana DeBose, Chris Pine, and DJ Khaled. The specials will air on ABC and can be streamed the next day on Hulu and Disney+.
