The “Kamala Harris and Donald Trump – ABC News Presidential Debate” attracted 67.1 million viewers, making it the most-watched debate on any network in 16 years. The debate, moderated by David Muir and Linsey Davis, was a significant event, with ABC News Live on streaming and digital platforms, including Hulu, Disney+, and ABC Owned Television Stations, contributing to the impressive viewership numbers.

The debate’s total audience across linear and streaming platforms reached 26.4 million viewers, making it ABC’s most-viewed live multiplatform event of the year. The pre-debate programming, “Race for the White House”, and the post-debate analysis also ranked number one in their respective time slots.

The debate was produced by ABC News Special Events, with Marc Burstein as senior executive producer and Molly Shaker as executive producer.
