ABC’s Tuesday dramas, Will Trent, High Potential, and The Rookie, have shown significant growth in viewership following their midseason premieres, according to multiplatform ratings for the week of January 14, 2025.
High Potential achieved a series high in multiplatform viewing, reaching 13.19 million total viewers and a 2.44 rating in adults 18-49. This performance is ABC’s best audience in total viewers for a drama since Grey’s Anatomy on December 3, 2020, and the highest delivery among adults 18-49 since November 10, 2022, also for Grey’s Anatomy. The linear broadcast of High Potential also achieved a series high, with 9.14 million total viewers and a 0.78 rating in adults 18-49.
Will Trent saw a rise in total viewership to 9.75 million and a 1.23 rating among adults 18-49 after seven days of viewing across ABC, Hulu, Hulu on Disney+, and other digital platforms. This figure represents a 71% increase in total viewers and a 162% increase in adults 18-49 compared to its live + same-day numbers. It continues to perform well on streaming, achieving its biggest episode to date on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
The Rookie also experienced growth, earning 9.33 million total viewers and a 1.91 rating in adults 18-49 across platforms. This represents a 2% increase in total viewers from the previous week and the show’s best total viewer delivery in almost two years. On linear, The Rookie reached 6.16 million total viewers, marking its strongest performance since March 5, 2024.
