ABC TV’s “BAY OF FIRES” Premiere – A remote community, secrets, and danger unfold in Tasmania

New ABC TV thriller Bay of Fires premieres this Sunday.
You wouldn’t expect to find Anika Van Cleef (Marta Dusseldorp) in a small town in Tasmania.
Trusting a stranger who claims to be on her side, adopting a new name she despises (Stella Heikkinen), and uprooting her family to Mystery Bay—a town so remote it eludes GPS—are her only options after she is betrayed and placed in grave danger.
Postcards don’t typically feature Mystery Bay. Only the solitude and sometimes terrifying beauty of this unspoilt wilderness remain in the absence of urban murals, floral clocks, and tapas bars.
Mystery Bay will be an experience like nothing the Heikkinens have ever had before; the locals have more secrets than they do, and they view visitors with a level of suspicion that verges on murder.
