ABC Unveils Its Unscripted Lineup for the Upcoming Season

ABC has unveiled its unscripted lineup for the upcoming season, renewing seven primetime series.

Heading into its seventh season on ABC, the iconic musical competition series “American Idol” returns with superstar judges Luke Bryan, and Lionel Richie and Katy Perry’s as yet unannounced replacement. The show’s host and producer, Ryan Seacrest, will also be back. “American Idol” has been a staple of primetime television, offering a platform for aspiring musicians to showcase their talent and pursue their dreams.

Romantic reality TV series “The Bachelor” is also back. Hosted by Jesse Palmer, the show takes audiences on a journey as eligible bachelors search for love among a group of dynamic women. Each week, the leading man will make difficult choices, distributing roses and narrowing the field until he finds his potential soulmate.

Adding to the excitement, “Celebrity Jeopardy!” and “Celebrity Wheel of Fortune” will once again feature celebrities putting their knowledge to the test for charitable causes. The beloved game shows provide a unique twist, combining entertainment and philanthropy.

Simulcast on ABC and Disney+, “Dancing with the Stars” pairs celebrities with professional ballroom dancers, showcasing their dancing skills and judged by a panel of renowned experts, including Julianne Hough and Bruno Tonioli.

The critically acclaimed “Shark Tank,” now in its 16th season, continues to celebrate entrepreneurship and innovation. Self-made tycoons, known as the Sharks, offer their expertise and investments to aspiring business owners, providing a platform for creative business ideas and inspiring stories.

Rounding out the renewals are “What Would You Do?” hosted by John Quiñones, and “Who Do You Believe?” with Chris Hansen. These thought-provoking series utilize hidden cameras to explore human behavior and ethical dilemmas, sparking conversations and offering insights into social psychology.
