Acapulco: Amor Eterno (Apple TV+ Wednesday June 12, 2024)

Acapulco Season 3

The eighth episode of Acapulco’s third season, titled “Amor Eterno,” airs on Apple TV+ on June 12, 2024. The comedy series, created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman, is inspired by the 2017 film “How to Be a Latin Lover.”

In this Día de Muertos-themed episode, Don Pablo assigns Maximo a challenging task that forces him to decide if he has what it takes to become the boss.

The show follows the story of Maximo Gallardo (played by Eugenio Derbez and Enrique Arrizon in different timelines), a young Mexican man whose dream comes true when he lands a job at the hottest resort in Acapulco, Las Colinas. However, he soon realizes that the job is far more complicated than he imagined.

In the present-day narrative, an older Maximo, now a successful mogul living in Malibu, reflects on his rags-to-riches story. Meanwhile, in 1985, a younger Maximo continues his climb up the ladder of success while potentially jeopardizing the relationships he has worked hard to build.

Acapulco stars Damián Alcázar, Vanessa Bauche, Chord Overstreet, and more, offering a charming blend of comedy and drama set in the vibrant world of a Mexican resort.

Acapulco: Amor Eterno airs Wednesday June 12, 2024 on Apple TV+.
