Accused: Guilty or Innocent?: Deadly Ex-marine or Family Defender? (A&E, Thursday, May 15, 2025)

Accused Guilty or Innocent

A&E’s “Accused: Guilty or Innocent?” returns Thursday with a case that blurs the lines between self-defense and excessive force. In “Deadly Ex-marine or Family Defender?” the series examines a domestic incident in El Paso, Texas, involving a Marine Corps veteran that ended with the death of a 16-year-old boy.

The episode explores the critical questions surrounding the event: did the veteran reasonably believe his family was in imminent danger, justifying his actions? Or did his military training and instincts lead him to use fatal force where it wasn’t needed?

“Accused” offers a unique approach to true crime storytelling, focusing exclusively on the defendant’s perspective. We hear directly from the accused, their legal team, and their family members, providing an intimate look at the human cost of being caught in the legal system’s gears.

Tune in Thursday, May 15 at 9:00 PM ET on A&E to hear their side of the story.
