FOX’s “Accused” returns with “Margot’s Story,” a new episode featuring a trio of acclaimed actresses: Debra Winger, Mercedes Ruehl, and Christine Ebersole. Airing Tuesday, November 19, this installment looks to be a showcase for some serious acting firepower.
Winger takes the lead as Margot, a recent widow finding solace in dance lessons. However, her graceful steps soon lead her down a darker path. As is typical for “Accused,” the story begins in a courtroom, with the narrative gradually revealed through flashbacks. We see how Margot’s world shifts, drawing her friends, played by Ruehl and Ebersole, into a complicated and potentially dangerous situation.
The dance instructor seems to be at the heart of the escalating drama. While details are scarce, the episode hints at shady dealings and a good dose of suspense.
The supporting cast includes Matthew J. Thomas, Dani Kind, and Jesse Rath. “Accused” typically uses its anthology format to explore the grey areas of human behavior, so don’t expect easy answers or clear-cut heroes and villains. “Margot’s Story” appears to follow that blueprint, with seemingly ordinary lives disrupted by unforeseen consequences.
“Accused” airs Tuesdays at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT on FOX.
