The story revolves around Fiona’s quest in Ireland after receiving a message from her father, Declan, who she believed had abandoned her and her mother on her tenth birthday. As Fiona digs deeper, she discovers truths about her father and a family unaware of her existence. She learns that the story of her abandonment was a lie intended to protect her and her mother from her father’s illicit dealings. This revelation prompts Fiona to seek the complete truth about her father and reconnect with him.
