Original “The Voice” coach Adam Levine will return for Season 27, joining new coach Kelsea Ballerini. They will mentor a group of aspiring singers alongside returning coaches Michael Bublé and John Legend.

Adam Levine was one of the original coaches on “The Voice,” joining the show for its inaugural season in 2011 alongside Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and CeeLo Green. From 2011 to 2019, Levine coached for 16 consecutive seasons and led his team to victory three times.

Ballerini is also familiar with “The Voice,” having been a battle advisor for Team Kelly Clarkson in Season 16 and filling in as a coach during Season 20. Now, she will make her official coaching debut.

Ballerini is a multiple Grammy Award-nominated, multi-platinum artist and Grand Ole Opry inductee. She made history as the only female country artist to have her first three singles from a debut album reach #1. Since then, she has achieved seven #1 singles and five consecutive Top 10 entries on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart.

Levine’s return to the show follows his departure in 2019, which he announced via a heartfelt Instagram post expressing gratitude for the experience and his camaraderie with fellow coach Blake Shelton.
