Prom night. Limousines. Teenagers in formal wear. It’s a classic American ritual. But in the season finale of FOX’s “Alert: Missing Persons Unit,” the celebratory evening takes a terrifying turn. “Chase” sees a limo full of high schoolers, including a senator’s son, hijacked en route to the big dance.
The Missing Persons Unit (MPU), led by Jason Grant (Scott Caan) and Nikki Batista (Dania Ramirez), immediately mobilizes. But as they dig into the case, they uncover a twist: the hijackers may not be after the senator’s son. The real target appears to be the ex-girlfriend of one of the other teenagers trapped in the limo.
Now, with Chief Inspector Bill Houston (Malcolm-Jamal Warner) and Lt. Gabrielle Bennett (Megalyn Echikunwoke) overseeing the increasingly frantic operation, Jason, Mike, and the rest of the MPU must race against time. They have to figure out where the limo is headed, who’s behind the kidnapping, and how to stop them before prom night becomes a tragedy. The clock is ticking. Catch the season finale of “Alert: Missing Persons Unit” Tuesday, May 27 at 9:00 PM ET on FOX.
