More4 has confirmed a second season of Perfect Pub Walks, with Alexander Armstrong back fronting four new episodes that blend sharp conversation with sweeping British landscapes.

Produced by Up&Away Studios, the new run (4×60) sends Armstrong across Yorkshire, Kent, Monmouthshire, and Shropshire. Each episode pairs him with a different high-profile guest, including Sir Lenny Henry, Chris McCausland, James May, and Chris Packham. The route always ends at a pub, but the real focus is the dialogue en route—witty, wide-ranging, and often unexpectedly personal.

The format mirrors the first season’s mix of easygoing charm and deeper reflection, keeping the camera close to the conversation while still spotlighting the British countryside in full detail. The show’s light structure allows space for both humour and candour without forcing sentiment.

Filming was handled by Leo McCrea, with Martin Fuller and James Quinn executive producing. Channel 4’s Clemency Green says the appeal lies in the balance: scenic walks, famous faces, and the kind of chat that doesn’t feel packaged.

Up&Away continues to expand its factual output, with other credits including Sven and Sue Perkins: Along the US-Mexico Border. Perfect Pub Walks fits squarely in the current More4 strategy, which leans on travel, nature, and nostalgia-driven personality formats to retain its core viewership.

An airdate is yet to be announced, but the second season will sit well with viewers looking for a relaxed, recognisable rhythm on a midweek evening.
