Channel 4 is lining up another feel-good format from Love Productions, tapping Alison Hammond to host Your Song (working title), a six-part search for the UK’s best undiscovered voices—minus the usual bells and whistles of TV talent fare.

The 6×60’ unscripted series will hit the road with a pop-up stage, planting itself in high streets, town squares, and community hubs around the country. Rather than flashy vocals or viral auditions, Your Song is banking on emotional resonance—real people singing the tracks that shaped their lives.

The project is a natural next step for the team behind The Great British Bake Off and The Piano, doubling down on authenticity and sentiment in a way that’s proven to land with UK audiences. Martha Delap and Kieran Smith co-executive produce for Love Productions, with Cimran Shah and Timothy Hancock commissioning for Channel 4. Shaminder Nahal, Head of Specialist Factual, also played a role in greenlighting the series.

Smith, also Love’s Creative Director, framed the format as an antidote to celebrity-chasing competitions—focusing instead on songs with meaning and performers with stories to tell.

The series has no premiere date yet, but with Hammond attached and the team’s track record, expect it to play big with mainstream audiences looking for something uplifting and real.
