Beverly High’s football field isn’t the only place where battles are being fought. This week’s All American sees KJ grappling with the weight of legacy, Layla wrestling with forgiveness, and Khalil facing some serious family pressure. Following Beverly’s latest loss, KJ turns to the playbook of former star quarterback Jordan Baker, hoping to find some winning strategies. But new coach Cassius encourages him to forge his own path, creating a familiar tension between honoring the past and embracing the future.
Off the field, Layla finds herself at odds with pop star Elle Grant, whose past social media posts haven’t exactly aged well. While Coop champions forgiveness, Layla isn’t so sure. Meanwhile, Khalil’s world gets complicated when his father, a gang member, arrives on the scene, demanding his son’s loyalty and setting up a potential clash between family and future. Ava tries to mediate between Cassius and KJ.
