All That Breathes

Documentary film ALL THAT BREATHES, directed by Shaunak Sen (“Cities of Sleep”) and nominated for an Oscar®, will premiere on HBO and HBO Max on Tuesday, February 7 (9:00-10:40PM ET/PT).

In ALL THAT BREATHES, two brothers risk everything to save the black kite, a regal bird of prey crucial to New Delhi’s environment that has been mysteriously disappearing. The ‘kite brothers’ devote their days and nights to tending to the creatures in their makeshift avian basement hospital, despite the toxicity of the environment and social instability. This fascinating chronicle of animal and human interdependence focuses on the bond between the kites and the Muslim brothers who assist in their release back into the sky.
