ALLBLK’s Lace Season 2 Official Trailer Drop, Premieres June 29.
On Thursday, June 29, the second season of the legal drama series LACE will premiere on ALLBLK, a popular streaming service for Black television from AMC Networks. Episodes will premiere weekly on ALLBLK.
What can we expect from season 2
The world of the unparalleled Lacey McCullough (Maryam Basir) has been thrown into a downward spiral after the explosive events of the previous season. The future of Lacey and McCullough & Associates is in jeopardy as Lacey’s enemies draw closer this season, culminating in a massive FBI investigation. Lacey’s trusted associate and confidant has mysteriously vanished after leaving the company. Lacey is determined to free her mother from prison after exhausting all available appeals, but with the firm in transition, she must first determine whom she can trust. All while her daughter’s father is being a jerk and her relationship is falling apart. Will this successful attorney be able to perform her trademark “gets ‘er done” magic when it’s her own life on the line, rather than just that of her wealthy and powerful clients?
Season 2 cast includes Maryam Basir (The Chi), Tanyell Waivers (Queen Sugar), Antoine Harris (The Breaks), Mollie Dolcimascolo (General Hospital), Taylor Bynoe, Isaac Stephen Montgomery (The Gray Man) and Leticia Labelle (What Bitch?). With special guest appearances by Kellita Smith (From Scratch), Leonard Roberts (All American), Terrell Carter (From Scratch), and Norman Towns (Insecure).

Who makes the series
LACE is co-created, and executive produced by Katrina Y. Nelson, Adam Starks (Snowpiercer), and Tracy Grant (Lincoln Heights). Michelle Ebony Hardy serves as executive producer and showrunner, alongside Nelson, in association with Kemy Time Productions. Brett Dismuke, Head of Content ALLBLK & WE tv, and Nikki Love SVP Development & Original Production, Scripted ALLBLK & WE tv serve as executive producers. And making directorial debuts this season, Keena Ferguson, with Nelson also directing for one episode.
