In the second episode of the new run of Alma’s Not Normal, Alma (Sophie Willan) faces more chaos in her typically unpredictable life. Her mother Joan (Lorraine Ashbourne) remains in denial about her situation, rejecting all advice, especially from Alma. Frustrated with her mum, Alma’s grandmother suggests she seek fun to combat her low self-esteem, which is even affecting her posture.
Taking the advice, Alma lands a job at Leanne’s (Jayde Adams) bar, where she encounters a potential love interest. However, in a signature Alma move, things go wrong quickly, resulting in her losing both the job and her romantic opportunity in a single day.
