AMC Announce UK True Crime Drama “The Long Shadow” Will Now Premiere Early 2024

The Sundance Now Original Series, The Long Shadow, was originally scheduled to premiere on November 16 but has been delayed.

The new premiere date has not been confirmed yet, but it is expected to debut in early 2024.

The series is a true crime drama that focuses on the five-year hunt for serial killer Peter Sutcliffe, also known as the “Yorkshire Ripper.” It takes place in the 1970s and 1980s and follows the victims and survivors of the notorious serial killer.

The story begins with the murder of Wilma McCann in October 1975 and explores the subsequent cat and mouse game between the killer and law enforcement. The series stars David Morrissey, known for his role as “The Governor” in The Walking Dead, and Toby Jones.
