Twenty seasons. That’s a lot of dancing, singing, juggling, magic, and probably more than a few questionable animal acts. NBC’s “America’s Got Talent” returns this Tuesday to celebrate its milestone 20th season, and the premiere episode, “Auditions 1,” aims to kick things off with a bang.
What can viewers expect? Well, the usual mix of awe-inspiring talent, heartwarming backstories, and the occasional train wreck – but with a few twists. One magician plans to bring the audience at home into the act, while a particularly daring danger act is set to unveil a seemingly superhuman ability. And, of course, expect the Golden Buzzers to make an appearance, catapulting lucky hopefuls straight to the live rounds.
Returning judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel, along with host Terry Crews, will offer their thoughts on this historic season and their feelings about reaching the two decade mark. It wouldn’t be “AGT” without some lighthearted banter among the panel.
