Ancient Aliens Key Art

The History channel’s Ancient Aliens investigates Puma Punku, a 6th-century site in Bolivia known for its enormous, intricately carved stone blocks. Archaeologists are puzzled by the scattered blocks, unsure of the site’s original purpose. Could modern technology provide answers and suggest alien involvement?

Puma Punku, located near Tiwanacu, features impressive T-shaped terraced platform mounds with monumental structures. The precision of the stonework is remarkable, with red sandstone and andesite stones cut to fit together perfectly. The stones were sourced from a quarry 10 km away, while smaller, ornamental andesite was brought from 90 km away on Lake Titicaca’s shores.
