The generational comedy competition “Talkin’ ‘Bout Your Gen” is making a comeback. Network 10 and 10 Play are bringing back the format with some updates – including a new set and look – and have brought in comedian Anne Edmonds as the brand-new host. Known for her sharp wit, Edmonds seems well-suited to lead this comedic contest.
The basic idea stays the same: teams representing Gen X, Y, and Z will compete each week. They’ll face trivia, pop culture questions, and physical challenges that could leave at least one generation feeling the sting of defeat. Generational bragging rights are the prize, and with Edmonds involved, the competition might get enjoyably unpredictable.
While the team captains haven’t been announced yet, Edmonds seems ready to poke fun at the quirks of each generation. She’s apparently already taking aim at millennials, good-naturedly pointing out what makes them unique.
Network 10 is aiming for a fast-paced, funny show filled with memorable moments, positioning it as family entertainment. An airdate has not yet been released.
