Antiques Road Trip continues its new run on BBC One on Monday, 26 August 2024 with the return of antiques experts Natasha Raskin Sharp and James Braxton, who embark on a road trip across three countries: Wales, England, and Scotland.
Starting their journey in South Wales, Natasha and James each have £200 to spend on antiques. James brings along a harvest jug, which he claims never to travel without. They explore shops, with Natasha discovering a unique hat and Victorian pottery, while James sets his sights on an old shop sign and a dolphin statue.
The pair then head to Pontypridd, where they look into the history of a beloved Welsh tune and its significance to the country’s culture. James even receives a lesson on playing the country’s national instrument.
Finally, the experts go head-to-head in a best-of-five auction battle, with the episode ending on a cliffhanger as viewers wait to see who will emerge victorious in this round of antique deals and musical adventures.
Antiques Road Trip: Old Friends and Rabid Rivals airs on BBC One on Monday, 26 August 2024, at 3:45 pm.
