Art expert Natasha Raskin Sharp and auctioneer James Braxton embark on the second leg of their week-long road trip, starting in Pontypridd and ending in Monmouth. They’re behind the wheel of a racing green 1967 Daimler Sovereign, each with £200 to spend.
Natasha discovers a pair of 19th-century lustres, hoping they will be a profitable find at auction. Meanwhile, James takes a chance on a tin-plate toy horse.
The trip isn’t just about antiques, though. James makes a detour to Penarth, where he meets open water swimmer Sophie Smith and learns about a 1920s trailblazer. He even tries out open water swimming himself!
As the journey continues, the experts visit the saleroom in Winchester, where they’ll find out if Natasha can maintain her lead or if James will level the scores in their best-of-five competition.
