PBS’s venerable “Antiques Roadshow” keeps on trucking, literally, with its latest episode, “Junk in the Trunk 14.” This Monday, the show returns with another collection of dusty heirlooms, forgotten attic treasures, and maybe – just maybe – a genuine find.
The episode provides a look at items discovered across the country, from Spokane and Tucson to Little Rock, Charleston, Cleveland, and Omaha. Among the objects up for appraisal are a German tin toy motorcycle, a Babe Ruth exhibition card, and a rather elegant Patek Philippe dress watch. Will any of these turn out to be worth a king’s ransom? Or will they remain firmly in the “charming but not particularly valuable” category?
“Antiques Roadshow” continues its twentieth season as one of PBS’s most popular series, drawing viewers in with its mix of history, art, and the thrill of the hunt. The show takes viewers on a trip back in time, giving us a look into changing tastes, forgotten technologies, and the stories behind the objects we cherish.
Tune in to PBS on Monday, May 19 at 8:00 PM ET to discover the stories behind these pieces.
