Apple TV+’s “Acapulco” Season 3 Trailer Drop

The third season of the bilingual comedy series “Acapulco” is set to premiere on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, May 1, 2024, with the first two episodes available immediately. The remaining episodes will be released weekly on Wednesdays until the finale on June 26, 2024.

The season will continue to star award-winning actor Eugenio Derbez as older Máximo, who returns to a Las Colinas he no longer recognizes. The story will also follow younger Máximo, played by Enrique Arrizon, as he climbs the ladder of success in 1985, potentially jeopardizing his relationships.

The ensemble cast includes Fernando Carsa, Damián Alcázar, Camila Perez, Vanessa Bauche, Regina Reynoso, Raphael Alejandro, Jessica Collins, Rafael Cebrián, Regina Orozco, and Carlos Corona. The season will also feature recurring guest stars Jaime Camil, known for “Schmigadoon,” and Cristo Fernández of “Ted Lasso” fame.

“Acapulco” is executive produced by Derbez and Ben Odell. It is created by Austin Winsberg, Eduardo Cisneros, and Jason Shuman, with Winsberg and Sam Laybourne serving as showrunners and executive producers. The series is produced for Apple by Lionsgate Television, 3Pas Studios, Zihuatanejo Productions, and the Tannenbaum Company.

The trailer for the new season reveals a competitive edge as younger Máximo goes head-to-head with Memo’s sister, Dulce, who is not as sweet as she appears. The season promises to deliver a mix of humor, romance, and unpredictable stories that fans know and love.
