Apple TV+’s “Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend” Set to Premiere February 2024

Apple TV+ has released the teaser trailer for “Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend,” a four-part documentary event tracking Lionel Messi’s career, set to premiere globally on February 21, 2024.

Apple TV+ has released a teaser trailer for the upcoming four-part documentary series called “Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend.”

It will track the career of Lionel Messi, an eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, through his five FIFA World Cup appearances, culminating in his victory at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 Finals.

The series is scheduled to premiere globally on February 21, 2024, and will provide an intimate look at Messi’s quest for a World Cup victory, featuring personal interviews and conversations with teammates, coaches, competitors, and fans.

The series will be executive produced by Tim Pastore, Patrick Milling Smith, Brian Carmody, and Matt Renner of SMUGGLER Entertainment, alongside Jenna Millman and Juan Camilo Cruz.

Additionally, fans in over 100 countries and regions can watch Messi play in 2024 with Inter Miami CF on the MLS Season Pass, a subscription service from Apple and Major League Soccer on the Apple TV app.
