Apple’s ‘Shrinking’ Returns for Second Season on October 16, 2024

Apple TV+ has announced that the critically acclaimed comedy series “Shrinking,” starring Emmy-nominated Jason Segel and multi-award winner Harrison Ford, will return for its second season on October 16, 2024. The platform also shared a sneak peek of the highly anticipated new season, created by Segel, Bill Lawrence, and Brett Goldstein.

The 12-episode season will debut globally with its first two episodes on Wednesday, October 16, followed by weekly releases every Wednesday until December 25, 2024.

Shrinking Season 2

“Shrinking” revolves around a bereaved therapist, played by Segel, who begins to disregard professional norms and offers unfiltered advice to his clients, sparking significant changes in their lives and his own.

Joining Segel and Ford, the series features an ensemble cast including Emmy-nominated Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley, with Emmy-nominated Christa Miller. Brett Goldstein will make a special guest appearance in the second season.

Shrinking Season 2

Produced by Warner Bros. Television, the series is a collaborative effort between Apple, Lawrence, and Warner Bros., following the success of “Ted Lasso” and the upcoming “Bad Monkey,” premiering on August 14, 2024. “Shrinking” also marks the second project for Apple TV+ and Segel, following his role in the Apple Original Film “The Sky is Everywhere.”
