Lord Sugar’s boardroom gets a chocolaty makeover this Thursday on BBC One, as “The Apprentice” challenges its remaining candidates to create and market the next big Easter egg sensation. The task tests their creativity, business acumen, and ability to function under pressure – and as usual, some crack more easily than others.
One team’s attempt to create a matcha-flavored egg falls flat, failing to impress buyers and leaving a slightly bitter taste. The other team, while concocting a more palatable product, struggles with confused branding, making for a shaky pitch to industry experts. The contestants are challenged to produce eggs that not only taste delicious but also stand out amongst the competition.
As always, the real drama unfolds in the boardroom, where Lord Sugar grills the candidates on their failings. With tensions running high and reputations on the line, someone will inevitably be “egg-spelled” from the competition.
“The Apprentice” airs Thursday at 9:00 PM on BBC One.
