Lord Sugar’s aspiring entrepreneurs are jetting off to Türkiye this week on “The Apprentice,” but this is no holiday. Tasked with organizing corporate away-day experiences, the candidates will need to deal with cultural differences, logistical challenges, and, of course, each other’s egos to avoid a firing.
One team’s laser focus on profit leads to a decidedly un-fun day for their clients in Bodrum. While the bottom line might look good, the bored expressions on the clients’ faces suggest a major miscalculation. Meanwhile, in Cappadocia, the other team’s attempt at fine dining goes disastrously wrong, with terrible table service turning a sophisticated evening into a chaotic mess. Nick and Karen are sure to relay all the juicy gossip back to Lord Sugar.
As always, “The Apprentice” thrives on the combination of high-stakes business challenges and interpersonal drama. The candidates are not only competing against each other but also against themselves, as their decision-making and leadership skills are put to the test. Will Türkiye prove to be a triumph for some and a disaster for others? And who will hear those dreaded words, “You’re fired,” from Lord Sugar?
