Actress Archie Panjabi is reportedly set to join the upcoming series of Doctor Who as a formidable new villain. The series will premiere on BBC and Disney+ in 2025.
According to Deadline, Panjabi has been cast in a significant role, although the BBC and Disney+ have not yet confirmed the news.
Meanwhile, the Fifteenth Doctor will have two companions by his side in season two: Varada Sethu, who will join the TARDIS from the Disney+ series Andor, and Millie Gibson’s Ruby Sunday.
Sethu, who will play the character of Belinda Chandra, expressed her excitement about joining the Doctor Who universe, saying, “I feel like the luckiest person in the world. It is such an honor to be a part of the Whoniverse.”

Sethu is best known for her role in Andor, but she has also appeared in other notable projects such as Jurassic World Dominion, Annika, and Strike Back.
The second season of Doctor Who is currently in post-production and is set to debut in 2025 on BBC and Disney+.
