“Australian Survivor” is gearing up for another round of tribal councils and blindside betrayals. Season 10, again dubbed “Brains v Brawn,” sets 24 new castaways loose in Samoa, promising a fresh dose of sun-drenched strategy. Check out the promo trailer below.

This isn’t the first time “Australian Survivor” has trotted out the “Brains v Brawn” gimmick, and viewers will recall the Brawn tribe’s less-than-stellar performance in the previous iteration. This time around, the brawny bunch—comprised of firefighters, Olympians, and coaches—are undoubtedly itching for a rematch. The Brains tribe, on the other hand, looks to maintain their cerebral dominance with a roster of PhD students, teachers, and even some folks who claim to understand A.I. One wonders if an algorithm can predict who’s going to flip at tribal council.

The producers are touting this season as the “most explosive yet,” which, let’s face it, is what they always say. But hey, after nine seasons, it’s encouraging to see they’re not out of hyperbole. We’ll see if the actual gameplay measures up to the marketing hype, but with half a million dollars on the line, the potential for fireworks is certainly there.

Australian Survivor: Brains v Brawn airs soon on Channel 10 and 10 Play.
