Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains – Simon Mee eliminated
Simon Mee has been eliminated from Australian Survivor: Heroes v Villains.
A fresh fan favourite was taken to Jury Villa after yet another night of phoney smiles and unfulfilled promises.
Tribal Council on Monday night threw Gerry and Nina into isolation for a full day. After discovering they had been duped for the game, Gerry and Nina were both furious with each other and with their common enemy, George. Simon waited for his chance to walk over to isolation and then said that this could be the best time for the three of them to turn on George. But, George was secretly listening in on the entire conversation as it took place.
Even though George tried to make amends with Gerry in the morning, Nina used the incident to win him over.
Later, Simon and Matt were in a dead heat at the Immunity Test, but Matt came out on top to claim the necklace again.
George, Matt, and Liz all agreed that, just like last night, a split vote on Simon and Nina was necessary for tonight. Simon was relieved that George finally engaged him in the strategy discussions. Simon confirmed to Nina and Gerry that he would vote for Nina despite his earlier statements.
Even though Nina could hear everything, George and Matt go to isolation to validate the strategy. After George and Matt go, Gerry seems to be in the middle. Gerry soon asked Matt, upon his return, if he might consider springing Nina on George without George’s knowledge. Matt was taken aback, and the three of them talked about their choices.
George claimed that tonight’s Tribal Council was about restoring faith in his alliance and continuing with the game plan, but instead, emotions boiled over. Simon restated his opinion that Matt, Gerry, and Liz are nothing more than “pawns” in Puppet Master George’s game. In response, Gerry gave his most forceful statement at Tribal Council to date, declaring that he is nobody’s pawn and that he has learned so much from George as a mentor, coach, and real friend. Nina said, “I don’t think he’s voting for George,” in a low voice to Simon. The results of the voting confirmed her worst fears; it was a dead heat between Nina and Simon. In a second vote, everyone agreed that Simon should be sent home.
Australian Survivor: Heroes V Villains airs next on Monday night at 7.30pm on Channel 10.
