The Australian premiere date of the brand new local edition of Taskmaster has been confirmed by Channel 10. Season one of the show will kick off on February 2 at 7:30 p.m.
Australian comedians will compete head-to-head in a series of hilarious shenanigans in a new take on the BAFTA Award–winning comedy series Taskmaster.
Celebrity competitors Julia Morris, Luke McGregor, Jimmy Rees, Nina Oyama, and Danielle Walker will face often bizarre challenges each week from the show’s tough-love Taskmaster, Tom Gleeson, and his sidekick, Tom Cashman.
The show will have the best comedians in the country competing for points by performing mundane tasks as quickly and creatively as possible. The comedians’ originality, reflexes, and problem-solving abilities will all be put to the test.
Taskmaster premieres in Australia on Thursday, February 2nd at 7.30pm on Channel 10 and 10 Play on demand.
