Radio personality and reality TV veteran, Brittany Hockley, is trading in her microphone for dancing shoes. She’s the third celebrity contestant confirmed for the next season of Dancing With the Stars Australia.
Hockley initially gained recognition on The Bachelor and Bachelor in Paradise. More recently, she appeared on The Challenge Australia and braved the jungle in I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!. Beyond reality TV, she co-hosts the popular KIIS radio program, The Pick Up, and the successful Life Uncut podcast alongside Laura Byrne.
Hockley shared on her podcast and radio show that the invitation to join Dancing With the Stars came after producers saw a video of her and her fiancé, Ben, working on their wedding dance. The online clip apparently caught the attention of the show’s team.
She joins comedian and presenter Shaun Micallef, and Olympic boxer Harry Garside, who have already been revealed as contestants.
Familiar faces return to guide the series, with Sonia Kruger and Chris Brown co-hosting. Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess, Helen Richey, and Mark Wilson will be back, assessing each performance.
Dancing With the Stars Australia is a production for Channel 7.
