Replicas are always a contentious topic in the classic car world – are they tributes or travesties? – but they certainly provide a talking point. The series’ strength remains its focus on the people behind the cars, the stories of acquisition, restoration, and, occasionally, mild obsession. It’s less about the gleaming chrome and more about the grease-stained hands and the enduring appeal of keeping these mechanical relics alive.
