In this episode of Bangers & Cash, Derek travels to Bridlington to acquire three classic vehicles: a Morris 8 tourer, a Mini Van, and a 1940s Morris LC3 truck. With a deep fondness for commercial vehicles and their living history, Derek considers the little LC3 the “cream of the crop.”
Meanwhile, Paul and Charlie head to Doncaster to retrieve the shell and parts of an E-Type Jaguar that has been dormant in a garage for four decades. Once described by Ferrari as “the most beautiful car in the world,” the E-Type is an iconic and highly sought-after collector’s item.
Back at their base, Derek assesses the E-Type Jaguar project, believing it could be a worthwhile endeavour for someone with more time than money. The team then shifts focus to their passion for motoring, as Derek and Paul embark on a scenic tour across Yorkshire’s countryside. With 60 cars participating, the tour is an opportunity to show off their prized possessions and celebrate vintage automobiles.
