BBC One’s “Bargain Hunt” heads to Kingston upon Thames this Monday, bringing its signature blend of antiques, friendly competition, and auction-room drama. Presenter Christina Trevanion meets a golf fanatic whose collection of memorabilia could be a hole-in-one (or a double bogey) for the teams.
Experts John Cameron and Richard Madley are on hand to guide the teams through the bustling marketplace, offering their wisdom (and sometimes, their skepticism) as the contestants search for hidden treasures and profitable bargains. With a limited budget and only an hour to shop, the pressure is on. Will they unearth a sleeper hit or end up with a boot full of regrets?
The real test comes at the auction in Cranbrook, where auctioneer Raj Bisram takes charge. Will the teams’ carefully chosen items go for a song or spark a bidding frenzy? As always, the tension is palpable. Can they make a profit, or will they be left counting their losses?
