The enduring appeal of watching Brits abroad, preferably while they haggle over the price of sangria, continues with another episode of “Bargain-Loving Brits in the Sun.” Wednesday’s installment finds us on Spain’s Costa del Sol, checking in with a cast of characters who have embraced the expat lifestyle.
We’ll meet Sue and her husband Kenny, a retired Elvis impersonator, who are tentatively re-entering the world of the living after Sue’s cancer treatment. Their first outing in a year takes them to the Fuengirola Bio Park, a trip that’s sure to be filled with equal parts heartwarming recovery and mild animal-related peril.
Elsewhere, entrepreneurial expat Natasha is launching a business aimed at helping fellow Brits settle into Spanish life, starting with her friend Rosie, who is presumably in dire need of some Iberian acclimation. And finally, there’s Ant, a caravan park resident in Horadada, who has taken it upon himself to organize a line dancing class. Whether he’s actually qualified to lead such an endeavor is unclear, but the potential for awkward choreography is high.
