“Basketball Wives” is back, and Season 12 looks set to deliver a slam dunk of drama. The premiere episode, “It’s Giving Foe,” throws the ladies right back into the mix of marital woes, fractured friendships, and shifting loyalties. Jennifer returns from a Parisian wedding, newly married and ready to start her happily ever after – until her husband lands in jail. It’s a jarring start to the season, but hardly the only source of conflict brewing.
Jackie takes on the role of peacemaker, attempting to bring the group together for a Friendsgiving celebration. But her efforts at unity backfire spectacularly, proving that some wounds run deeper than cranberry sauce. Elsewhere, Evelyn’s “receipts” stir up trouble, clashing with Jennifer’s marital vows, while Brittany’s newfound faith is tested as tensions rise. “It’s Giving Foe” premieres Monday, May 5 at 8:00 PM ET on VH1.
