Bay of Fires Season 2: Stella’s Back in Mystery Bay with More Darkly Comedic Mayhem!

Bay of Fires Season 2 Key Art

ABC Australia’s hit series “Bay of Fires” returns to ignite more chaos in the scenic, yet surprisingly sinister, Mystery Bay, Tasmania. Season 2, airing Sunday, June 15th at 8:00 PM, finds Stella (Marta Dusseldorp) not just surviving, but thriving – at least in terms of career advancement. She’s now the boss of Mystery Bay, which, given the town’s penchant for attracting eccentric criminals and doomsday cults, isn’t exactly a relaxing gig.

As if juggling solo parenting and keeping a low profile weren’t enough, Stella finds herself caught in a three-way tug-of-war between an erratic drug lord, a particularly zealous doomsday prepper group, and, just to spice things up, the reappearance of an old nemesis. It’s enough to make anyone question their sanity, and Stella starts to wonder if she’s somehow the common denominator in all this mayhem.

Joining the already excellent cast, which includes returning members Toby Leonard Moore, Nicholas Bell, and Pamela Rabe, are Benedict Hardie, Alex Dimitriades, Darren Gilshenan, Katie Robertson, Helana Sawires, and Mabel Li. With a backdrop of Tasmania’s rugged west coast, the eight-part second season looks set to deliver another round of darkly comedic thrills. For those needing to catch up or relive the chaos, Season 1 is currently streaming on ABC iview.
