BBC Commissions “We Built a Zoo” Following TikTok Star Kyle Thomas

We Built A Zoo

BBC Three and BBC Northern Ireland have commissioned Waddell Media to produce “We Built a Zoo,” a documentary following TikTok star Kyle Thomas’s journey to build a zoo for his exotic animals. Thomas, the UK’s most-followed TikToker with over 34.8 million followers, has faced criticism from animal rights activists for his controversial posts.

The film, directed by Gill Callan, digs into Thomas’s past and his attempts to find suitable homes for his 39 animals. He teams up with builder Phil Hughes to transform Hughes’ petting farm into a world-class wildlife park.
