BBC First Australia Announce Festive Line-Up

This December, BBC First is fast tracking festive Christmas Specials including Beyond Paradise, Call the Midwife, and Death in Paradise, premiering on December 25, 26, and 27 on its premium drama channel.

Christmas Specials Premiere on BBC First

Get ready for the festive season with BBC First on their premium drama channel this December. They will be fast-tracking your favorite Christmas specials including Beyond Paradise, Call the Midwife, and Death in Paradise.

Beyond Paradise will premiere on Christmas Day at 7.30pm, Call the Midwife on Tuesday, 26 December at 7.30pm, and Death in Paradise on Wednesday, December 27 at 7.30pm. All three specials will be available to stream on Binge and On Demand.

Beyond Paradise will feature Humphrey and the team solving a series of eerie cases, including a mystifying haunting, just in time for Christmas. The cast for Beyond Paradise includes Kris Marshall, Sally Bretton, Zahra Ahmadi, Jade Harrison, and Dylan Llewellyn.

Call the Midwife is set in 1968 on Christmas, as the Apollo 8 mission orbits the moon, and the Nonnatus Family rallies around Sister Monica Joan to lift her spirits. Call the Midwife features Jenny Agutter, Linda Bassett, Judy Parfitt, Helen George, Stephen McGann, Laura Main, Rebecca Gethings, and Cliff Parisi.

In Death in Paradise, DI Neville Parker’s mum is in town for Christmas, and the team investigates the mysterious death of a wealthy business owner. The Death in Paradise cast includes Patsy Kensit, Doon Mackichan, Youssef Kerkour, Geoff Bell, Bronagh Waugh, Amelia Clarkson, Freddy Carter, and Leila Khan, joining series regulars Ralf Little, Don Warrington, Shantol Jackson, Tahj Miles, Ginny Holder and Élizabeth Bourgine.
